When communicating with a client who is not satisfied with the creative design that I have shared, despite it being better from a conversions perspective, I would first take the time to understand their concerns and try to address them. I would then present data and research that supports the design choice, highlighting the reasoning behind it and the potential benefits it could bring in terms of conversions.
I would also explain the impact of design on the user experience and how the design I have proposed aligns with the user’s needs and expectations. I would also share examples of similar designs that have been successful in the past in terms of conversions.
It’s important to remember that the client’s perspective is important, but as a professional, we should also be able to guide them in making the best decision for the project, and that’s why I would be transparent and open to discussing any concerns they have. I would also be open to making revisions to the design based on their feedback, as long as it does not compromise the overall goal of conversions.
